The Future is Indigenous: An Invitation to Radical Reciprocity
Indigenous knowledge systems are the ultimate blueprint for a viable future. We are not just building projects; we are restoring a living system based on reciprocity.
Chautuileo Tranamil is deeply involved within Indigenous communities and is looking for visionary partners and first believers who agree that Indigenous autonomy is the key to our shared future. Juan Manque and Willem Koning and Jan Koning are leading elders to help Indigenous youth.
We don’t just see reciprocity as a moral value, but as a circular economy of wisdom. In this system, knowledge, resources, and care flow in a continuous intergenerational sharing.
Learned Lessons: Why We Move Away from Traditional Charity
Traditional and current funding landscape is often built on a paradox: it seeks to help, yet imposes conditions that create dependency. It is known that traditional philanthropy often operates top-down, with rigid structures that can unintentionally demand that Indigenous Indigenous peoples as Chautuileo Tranamil and her co-creators fit into Western institutional boxes.
"We have experiences a lack of understanding for our nature of work.
There is a need for our communities to recognize intergenerational trauma
and social challenges. There is a need for others not to co-opt our projects"
We don't just manage projects or our peoples; we steward a Circular Economy of Wisdom and Reciprocity, based on ancestral values. Indigenous culture bearers and knowledge keepers are often expected to share their profound wisdom for free or as "volunteers," while Western consultants are highly compensated. This continues a cycle of exploitation.
Redefining Investment: From Dependency to Autonomy
We are like our ancestors

Who are we?
We are a collective of Indigenous researchers, artists, knowledge keepers, and ceremony keepers. We are not a foundation by design; we are a living movement, moving in a different direction. We are not a legal entity.
Since, 2018 we are building together, where Indigenous communities stand in equal, independent power. We have intentionally chosen a model that prioritizes community sovereignty over administrative bureaucracy. We work from the FPIC and the rights to autonomy and self-determination.
We prioritize Indigenous-led stewardship and direct community decision making, ensuring that resources flow where they are needed most, without the barriers of conventional "non-profit" constraints.

Cultural & Spiritual Safety
Safety is more than physical protection; it is about Cultural Safety. We ensure an environment where Indigenous communities can practice and share their traditions without exploitation or external pressure. Your investment supports a structure that guards the integrity and spirit of the community.
Intergenerational Leadership
We do not work in fiscal quarters; we work in generations. Our model invests in the continuous transfer of leadership from elders to the youth, and from the youth to the elders. We are building a foundation where the next seven generations do not have to ask for permission to lead, but can rely on their own autonomous strength.
Dignity through
Fair Compensation
In our model, Indigenous culture bearers and knowledge keepers are fairly and professionally compensated for their unique expertise. We recognize ancestral knowledge as high-level expertise that is essential for the world’s future. Fair payment is not a luxury; it is a requirement for a viable, decolonized ecosystem.
Investment in Intergenerational Vitality

1
Indigenous Liberation Movement
We are a collective of various Indigenous communities around the world. We are intergenerational. We are high school drop-outs, scientists, activists, artists, community workers, ceremony keepers. We hope you encourage us to continue with our intercultural collaborations. We are vulnerable, yet brave to tackle injustice or advocate for Indigenous empowerment. We hope you believe in our power and become a ILM supporter
2
Reciprocity Academy
The Reciprocity Academy is rooted in the Indigenous principle that knowledge, co-creations, and art are living gifts that must circulate. Our Reciprocity Academy is a Gift Economy of skills, knowledge, care, time, and attention. We do not believe wisdom is locked away inside university walls; it lives in the gardener’s hands, the stories of our elders, and the critical eye of the youth. We believe in local community work for increasing all kinds of connections based on reciprocity. We hope you are one of the first believers
3
Community & Neighborhoods
Indigenous community workers provide local support to community members facing isolation, poverty, trauma, and hardship. Small donations can help fund transport, food, trauma sensitive support, cultural healing, and emergency support. Your contribution helps Indigenous communities and local neighborhoods care for their own people with dignity, trust, and cultural understanding.

Reciprocity Investment Circle
We invite visionary funders and private donors to move beyond traditional philanthropy and join the Reciprocity Investment Circle
We are currently open for new requests. We invest ourselves already. We believe, our history is shared, yet our future as well. We invite you to support our knowledge, teachings and community work.
